100th
Anniversary
On
the weekend of September 28th through 30th, 2007, Holy Angels Catholic
School celebrated a truly significant milestone, it's 100th year
of bringing Catholic education to the near northwest part of Indianapolis.
The weekend consisted of 4 major functions: Friday evening - Welcome
Back Reception; Saturday evening - Dinner/Dance gala; Sunday - Special
mass of celebration followed by a fellowship in the parish center
and Waldon Hall. We presently have photos of the Welcome Back Reception,
Mass, and Fellowship functions. The spirited coordinating committee
included alumni of Holy Angels Catholic School and parishioners
of Holy Angels Catholic Church, and worked for months to pull off
this singular celebration.
Photos on this page
depict some scenes from the Welcome Reception. Pastor Kenneth Taylor,
Principal Cynthia Greer, and Campus Administrator - Michael Joseph,
were among the parish and school administrators present throughout
the weekend. Many former and current members of our school family
as well as parishioners, family members, and friends turned out
in large numbers to make it a wonderful tribute to the history of
our school.
