HOLY ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH

Reverend Kenneth Taylor Appointed Pastor of Holy Angels

On Sunday, October 23, it was announced to the parishioners of both Holy Angels and St. Michael the Archangel parishes that the Archdiocese of Indianapolis has named Rev. Kenneth Taylor to assume the role of pastor of Holy Angels parish, effective January 4, 2006. Father Taylor is a "son of Holy Angels Parish" and will be especially welcome here.

He will succeed Father Clarence Waldon, who passed away on August 14, 2005, after a brief illness. During Father Waldon's illness and since his passing, a succession of several priests including a number of priests from West Africa have generously ensured continuity of sacramental ministry here.

Rev. Taylor has recently served at Holy Trinity Parish on the near West side of Indianapolis, and is currently pastor of St. Michael the Archangel parish, on West 30th Street, which borders Holy Angels Parish. He is also the Director of Multicultural Ministry for the Archdiocese.

Additional information will be provided as it is forthcoming.
