What We Expect of our Parents:

1. Attend the seven (7) Catholic Faith Classes.
Catholic Faith Classes- mandatory for all new families. New school parents are required to attend seven sessions. the series will be offered at various times to accommodate parents' work schedules. Each session will last two (2) hours and is designed to put parents in touch with the Catholic beliefs and practices that children are learning and relates this to the adult faith background. Opportunity for discussion and sharing with other new families.
Child care will be provided for scheduled sessions.

2. Worship regularly with your child/ren at the church of your choice.
Holy Angels Catholic School families pledge to worship regularly in the church of their choice. Families who have no church membership are expected to consider membership in a church of their choice. Our stress on religion in the school is lost if not picked up by the home. School families are always welcome anytime at Holy Angels Church. Services are held at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, and at 9:00 A.M. & 11:00 A.M. on Sunday. Sunday School for children is held in the school during the 11:00 A.M. service. The children join the adults in worship later in the service.

3. Attend SPA meetings and Report Card Conferences.
School Parent Association (SPA)-This association of all parents of children enrolled in Holy Angels Catholic School is an advisory and action group. Objectives are carried out under the leadership of the SPA Executive Committee and their subcommittees.

SPA meetings are held 3 times a year. ALL PARENTS ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND THESE METTINGS. Special events will be held during the other months. Executive Committee meetings are held once a month. These are open meetings; however, items for the agenda must be submitted one week in advance.
SPA representatives (from the Executive Committee) give input to the policy and budget setting group, the SCHOOL COMMISSION OF HOLY ANGELS PARISH.

Some additional tasks are: building parent pride and ownership in the school; putting on social, educational an cultural programs for parents' promoting Operation PUSH and student programs; and fundraising.

4. Keep tuition payments current.
Tuition payments, September through May, are due no later that the 10th of each month.

5. Participate in the fundraising activities.
All parents are required to raise $800.00 in sales or pay $320.00 (40% of $800) in fees. Parents may do a combination of fund-raising and payment. One half (½) of the fundraising sales or fee must be completed/paid by January 19th. The other half must be completed/paid by April 30th.

6. Spend one (1) full day at school.
All parents must sign-in in the office on their pre-schedule day at school.
