Holy Angels at
Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration

Parishioner and school parent, Barbara Relphorde takes a turn at the Holy Angels School section of the Archdiocesan booth at this year's Expo. The booth gives us an opportunity to evangelize our school and parish presence in the community.

"Sign of the Times"

Holy Angels School and Parish family can now proclaim our message to the community via an attractive, illuminated "marquee". Featuring the school colors and standard lettering, important school news and parish events will be visible to the community day and night. (See construction photos below.)

Holy Angels "Men at Work!"

The assembly and placement of our new parish sign board (marquee) was the result of the efforts of our parish maintenance committee during one of its frequent work session. Below are photos of our dedicated parish men contributing time and talent to continuing maintenance and improvement of our Holy Angels Parish and School home. Thanks for the hard work!

Strawberry Festival 2002

On Father's Day, June 16, Holy Angels Family celebrated the fruit of the season with it's traditional Strawberry Festival. A feast for the eyes as well as the palate, a diverse display of delectable desserts delighted diners after the 9 and 11 o'clock masses. Good fellowship accompanied the delicious treats.
2002 Graduates Honored
As is our custom at Holy Angels, each June we honor all graduates from primary and secondary schools, colleges, universities, and other educational programs. Pictured here are the graduates honored at the 11:00 service on Sunday, June 9, 2002. Congratulations!
 

Annual Missionary's Visit

Our Missionary this year was Rev. Nichodemus Ugwu, O.P., a Dominican Priest from the Province of Nigeria. On Sunday, June 9, Holy Angels welcomed his spirited ministry and his dynamic narrative and appeal on behalf of missionary work in Nigeria.

Drums of Worship

Percussion is an important part of the music ministry at Holy Angels on Sundays. Here, regular percussionist William Pate is joined by talented youth from our parish.

Channel 6 and Holy Angels Team for Tax Help

On Saturday, April 13, television station WRTV - Channel 6, partnered with Holy Angels to provide tax assistance to the public in our Parish Center.

A New Look in Holy Angels Church!

The Lenten Season, 2002, was ushered in with a long - awaited change. Sunday mass on February 17 featured a new look to the sanctuary at Holy Angels. The purple hues of the Lenten season contrasted with a new, "spruce green" wall to wall carpet, which harmonizes with the colors of the worship space. Most areas of the church, including the floor under and between the pews as well as the balcony and stairs, received the welcome refurbishing. The new carpet is lighter, more comfortable under foot, and will be easier to maintain.
