A month rich in spirituality! We have crowned Our Lady, given witness to the Ascension of Our Lord, and celebrated the gift of the Holy Spirit in Pentecost. Symbols of Our Lady and the Spirit are evident in the adornment of the altar.


First Communion


The first communion recipients process into the church.


The first communion class is filled with anticipation!


The Pentecost sermon carries a special message for those about to receive the Eucharist for the first time.

Each communicant helped bring special gifts to the altar ~ finally the bread and wine for the sacrifice.

Offering the Bread and Wine, which will become His Body and Blood.

The first communion recipients gather around the altar for the Consecration.


Family members join the communicants as they are received by the parish family.
