Holy Saturday
Blessing the New Fire representing Christ
 The congregation gathers outdoors on this holy night.
The Paschal Candle with the New Fire The "Light of Christ" is brought into the Church, and
the "Exultet" proclaims the Good News.
The "Light of Christ" is shared among the congregation. The Gospel and homily continue the story
of the resurrection and our salvation.
The Baptismal Font is blessed. Brought to the water
Annointed with chrism White garments and burning candles,
given as symbols to the newly baptized
Confirmed in the faith The Blood of Christ, received for the first time
by several new members
