Parish Christmas Party 2002

On Sunday, December 15, parishioners and guests turned out in good numbers for fun, food and fellowship. Cold egg nog, hot hors d'oeuvres, a bountiful buffet, delectable desserts, and a visit from old Saint Nick were among the highlights. A great time was had by all in attendance. Pastor Waldon even had a chance to sit on Santa's lap and share his Christmas wish list! And our pastor was in turn surprised with gifts for himself and the parish.

Guests began to arrive around 3:00 pm as Santa's helpers distributed holiday beverages and tempting snacks to tantalize the appetite and the finishing touches were placed on the dinner. The parish family indulged in what most families do best, good conversation and good fellowship.

Father Waldon offered thanks for the bountiful meal and our time together.

The feast of roast beef, turkey, and all the trimmings was set before the crowd. Sweets for the eyes, ears and taste buds to finish off the dinner.
The Parish family eagerly samples the treats from the buffet line. The turn out was sizeable as demonstrated by the long dinner line and those still seated!

Jolly old St. Nicholas enters the party! Looks like Santa has been working out ~ and who is Santa's elf??? Our little angels line up for a chance to tell Santa Clause about those important items on their Christmas lists.
Santa Clause has a lot of visitors in this picture ~ we hope he got all of those addresses right!
