The Face of Our Angel

Above is the face of the exquisite, cast bronze angel statue, which is intended to grace the front of our church on the corner of 28th St. and Martin Luther King Streets. As in the article at left, we are still short of our goal to pay for our new angel. Will you be a part of making this beautiful art work a monument to God's goodness for 100 years at this Church?

100th Anniversary Links

The Angel Fund

You probably have noticed that the new Angel is not in front of the parish as we had anticipated during the celebration. However, you can still help us rescue her from the foundry. We need a minimum of $3,000 to get the sculpture released. At present we owe $18,000 for the Angel to the sculptor. If you have not yet donated, please consider taking an active part in this lasting symbol of our parish. If you have already contributed, might you consider an additional gift? Any money that you can donate will help to make the Angel a reality to be installed (weather permitting) in early spring. Please send your tax free donation to Holy Angels Angel Fund, in care of the parish office.

We thank all of those who have contributed so generously in the past and pray that the new Angel will be rescued very soon. Also, as we have previously mentioned, we will soon need to accept sealed bids for the old angel. I will keep you posted. I hope to hear from you!
