School
Garden 2007
Spring and Summer
2007 brought the return of the growing season in the Midwest, and
the return of the Holy Angels School Garden. The land between the
School building and the driveway on the south side was transformed
with vegetables and flowers for the warm months. Assisted by school
parents, students were able to watch living lessons in biology and
God's creation. An efficient watering system ensured that plants
would have a good chance to survive during the summer months. Here
are photos during spring and then weeks later in the summertime.
School parent and Director of Religious Education, Stephanie Whitley,
lends a hand removing the weeds which seemed to be thriving alongside
the garden plants.
