DESCRIPTION OF MINISTRY

 

This ministry nourishes fellowship within our parish, community and individual families. The Fellowship and Family Life ministry has practical and traditional fellowship activities that develops lasting friendship within the parish.

 

ACTIONS TO ACCOMPLISH MINISTRY

 

To accomplish this ministry plans, dates of events, budgets, objectives, food preparation and evaluations are needed.

 

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS NEEDED

 

The participants needed to successfully accomplish a fellowship activity varies, depending on how large the event; usually there are 5 to 25 ministry workers. 

 

TALENTS NEEDED

 

The love of enjoying people, getting your hands dirty, a friendly personality, and having fun are the only notable requirements. Anyone who is creative and loves to decorate and has time and patience is encouraged to step out on faith.

 

TIME COMMITMENT

 

Some events take longer to plan than others, but on the average, 90 days is a sufficient time to plan a successful event. Generally, members on each event are asked to make a three-year commitment.

 

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

 

The budget for this ministry is $1500.00 for the year, however the majority of time the committee members provide some financial support which releases the parish the burden of the full expense.

 

VISION

 

The vision of this ministry is to train new committee members and perfect what fellowship activities that are already implemented.
