DISCRIPTION OF MINISTRY
Provide religious education and instruct candidates in catholic tradition, practices and prayer life. Keep members inform and deepen knowledge of Faith and Bible. Instruct children in the Bible and Catholic Faith and provide religious education and guidance for youth.
ACTIONS TO ACCOMPLISH MINISTRY
Individually take an active role as Catholics in our faith journey and faith formation opportunities daily prayer ritual Scripture reading and work in ministries of our parish.
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS NEEDED
5 to 10 participants are needed for each committee, and 10 to 20 religious education teachers.
TALENTS NEEDED
Love of the catholic faith and active participation in parish life.
TIME COMMITMENT
Depending on the ministry: · RCIA, weekly September through Easter · Adult Religious Education, bi monthly ·
Children’s
Religious Education, weekly · Catechists, 3 times a year · Youth, ongoing · Baptism Preparation, as needed, 4 to 5 week preparation · Disciples in Mission, ongoing
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
$1500.00 Annually
VISION
Increase financial resources and volunteer commitment. Increase parishioner participation in Faith Formation opportunities. A stronger Youth ministry.
