As
Father Taylor explained on the last Sunday before Lent, fasting
(and abstinence from eating meat) are important opportunities
for spiritual growth during Lent and serious obligations for
most Catholics. Required fasting applies on Ash Wednesday and
Good Friday. Abstinence from eating meat applies on all Fridays
in Lent. |
Small faith sharing groups for Lent. Groups begin February 26 and continue through Lent. It is NOT too late to inquire about joining. Information on times and locations in church at Sunday worship or call the Parish Office (above) for more information. (A small donation of $3.50 is requested to help defray expenses for printed materials.) |
