June
featured several events of special note at Holy Angels.
On
Holy Trinity Sunday, we were honored and blessed to receive
a new, young member to the parish. Photos of Baptism, Confirmation,
and First Communion rites are below.
Sister
Gerry O'Laughlin, long-time and outgoing Principal of Holy Angels
Catholic School introduced Mr. Michael Joseph and his family.
Mr Joseph has for several years been a dynamic and commited
member of our school faculty, and in Fall 2006, will be assuming
the role of Campus Administrator under a new principal shared
with St. Anthony's parish. This is part of a new and expanded
staffing plan from the Center City Catholic Schools Consorium.
Fathers
Day featured a new worship tradition for Holy Angels. Over 30
of our ladies formed a Ladies Chorus and provided worship music
for the Fathers Day liturgies. A praise dance team also ministered
to us. The ladies truly poured out a blessing on all in attendance.
Poems were read by Anne Murrell and Father K.T. provided extra
inspiration by way of his sermon and special blessing on fathers
and father figures.
