Growing Stewards through Commitments of
Time and Talent

This year, Holy Angels' annual Festival of Ministries, held in conjunction with the monthly Knights of St. Peter Claver Pancake Breakfast, took on additional meaning and importance, by way of its tie in with our program of Growing Stewards. Throughout our Parish Journey 2005, we have been preparing to transform our Parish as envisioned by our late pastor, Rev. Clarence R. Waldon. We began in Spring with Appreciative Inquiry, to help us focus on our strengths. Then in Summer we participated in New Beginnings to see our parish through the perspective of ministry. In the Fall, we began the program of Growing Stewards to increase our awareness of and participation in Holy Angels' own parish ministries. Finally, in October - to coincide with the Archdiocesan program of committing Time, Talent, and Treasure, we held a spectacular Festival of Ministries to showcase the vibrant programs of parish life at Holy Angels.
