February brought a "flurry" of activities at Holy Angels. Weather, holidays, liturgical observances - all were just a part of a brief but busy month. Here are selected photos of just a few happenings. We are still hoping to post additional images of the Valentines Extravaganza and of the Mardi Gras celebration.

Let it snow! Pastor at work!
Thanks to Mr. Richard Vonder Muelen for photos of Father KT doing snow removal.
Marian College Student Visitors
Despite harsh weather, several members of a Black student organization from Marian College visited us at the 9:00 am mass on February 18. The purpose of the group is to promote positive images and understanding of Black students and Black culture. Welcome - we were enriched by your visit!
Infant Baptism
On February 18, we were also privileged to welcome a new member to Holy Angels
by way of an infant baptism. Welcome to the Holy Angels Family
International Visitors
A group of exchange students from Marseilles, France, by way of St. Richard's Episcopal School, Indianapolis, along with local hosting parents, joined us for 9:00 am mass on Sunday, February 25. The group wished to experience worship in a Black Catholic Tradition. We were delighted by our guests staying for the Knights of St. Peter Claver pancake breakfast afterwards. Indianapolis students from St. Richard's will travel to Marseilles later this spring. We hope our guests were as inspired by their visit as we were.

Catechumen and Candidate Enrollment
Also on February 25, candidates and one catechumen were enrolled at Holy Angels for the final, more intensive period of preparation for initiation into the Catholic Faith. This journey toward full participation in the sacraments will conclude on Holy Saturday at the Easter Vigil services. Pray for our aspiring, new members.
