Holy Angels Catholic Church Town Hall Meeting Friday, September 29, 2006 at 7:00 pm Holy Angels Church Parish Hall & School, 28th & Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Street The purpose is for Northwest Area Community to meet the candidates slated for the November elections. The candidates will give a brief summary of their platforms followed by a questions and answer period. A new voting machine and a representative from the Voter's Registration Bureau will be on hand to demonstrate how the machine works and answer other voting questions. |

Holy Angels Catholic Church Celebrates 103 Year Anniversary with an Old School Jam Dance Saturday, September 30, 2006 at 7:00 pm Holy Angels Church Parish Hall & School, 2822 Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Street DJ to spin R&B from the 60's to the present. Best Dressed in period fashion to win a door prize. Admission is $5.00 at the door. (Refreshments will be available to purchase at Old School prices!) Anniversary Raffle tickets will be available for $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. The grand prize is $1,500 drawing on Sunday, October 1, 2006. On Saturday at the Old School Jam, there will be 10 early bird drawings of $100. (You must be present to win!) Raffle tickets will be available at the church rectory, 740 West 28th Street, 926-3324 or at the dance. |
