HOLY ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH
Indianapolis Archdiocese at Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration 2008!

  Parishioners at Expo
Holy Angels Parish and individual members continued our commitment to the presence of the Catholic Archdiocese of Indianapolis at Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration. The Archdiocesan booth provided a colorful display of Catholic faith with emphasis on the Black worship tradition, and offered informative take-away kits evangelizing to the community. Again in 2008, the Catholic Church by way of the Archdiocese, Holy Angels, and individual parishioners, had a significant presence at this major celebration of African American culture and industry.
Parishioners also served in exhibits for a variety of other organizations at this nationally-recognized exposition of African American culture and business.
Father Kenneth Taylor along with a number of parishioners worked at the booth through the weekend. Among parishioners pictured in the Archdiocesan booth are Alison Culpepper, Connie Morris, and Marilyn Crain, along with longtime parish friend Sister Demetria Smith.
