Holy Angels Gospel Choir has long been a source of energy and activity at our parish. In one weekend (August 25-26) the choir had two major events on its calendar.
• Friday evening, August 25, brought a special edition of Holy Angels' Famous Fish Fry. The choir sponsored this very successful fundraiser which delighted parishioners and members of the community with our delicious fish dinners, beverages, and desserts, while raising money for a special project. Holy Angels Gospel Choir plans to professionally record a CD within the next year as a fundraiser for the entire parish. Thanks to all who supported the event. More on the CD project in the months ahead.
• Bright and early the following morning, the choir showed up on the banks of the historic Indianapolis Canal for an Archdiocesan fundraiser. Catholic Charities sponsored a "canal walk" to raise funds for family needs in the area. The choir ministered to participants and interested bystanders as they walked around the scenic canal for a good cause.
        On Sunday the 27th, the choir delivered an especially spirited ministry at the usual 9 and 11 am masses. Harambee!
