Gray skies and showers drove our celebration of Palm Sunday indoors for the first time in years. Nevertheless, the blessing of palms and the ceremonial march around the inside of the church to the song "Hosanna! Blessed be the Rock!" made an exuberant beginning to the 9:00 and 11:00 am masses. At each service, the Passion of the Christ was read by Father Taylor and two lay readers, a poignant and sorrowful contrast to the triumphand entry into Jerusalem. The completion of each mass began the annual journey to Calvary and beyond to the Resurrection.
