First Communion 2007

        After a spiritual and enjoyable First Communion Class Retreat, the great day arrived for our young, first communicants. Sunday, April 22, was the date of their first reception of the Holy Eucharist. Below are pictured a few of the highlights of this special liturgy. Among the images are the processional, the reception of communion, blessing of rosaries, and the group picture with Daryl Whitley, first communion class Sponsor, and Rev. Kenneth Taylor, Pastor. It is now our task to model respect for and frequent, worthy reception of the Eucharist for our youths.
