Easter
Sunday morning, we relived the experience of those who discovered
the empty tomb, and realized that Jesus the Christ had truly
triumphed over death and sin. In the light of morning, the
lilies, the flowing fountain, the clouds of incense, all
took on an even brighter and more glorious appearance than
in the evening service. Elements of the Holy Saturday celebration
were carried over to Easter morning. The Pascal Candle,
the baptismal font, the singing and recitation of the Exultet,
and the formal Alleluias, the renewal of baptismal vows
and sprinkling of the congregation, all were central to
the celebration on Easter Sunday. Father Taylor's message
focused upon church as the historical response to the resurrection,
and as our response to our modern celebration of Easter.

11:00 am service.
