Lenten Fish Fry Volunteer Sign-up
It's that time again for the Lenten Fish Fry. If you would like to volunteer to help at the Fish Fry just fill out a sign-up sheet located in the back of Church and place it in the Ujima Basket or see Adelaide Long. Volunteers are needed to help with the many areas of this event, to help make it the success that it has been. Come out an volunteer and fellowship with your Church Family.

Lenten Fish Fry Donations Needed
The 2010 Lenten Fish Fry will start
Friday, February 19, 2010.
You can help our annual Lenten Fish Fry by donating one or more of the following items Until Friday, March 26, 2010. Donations can be brought to the Rectory or left in the back of Church. Items Needed: Spaghetti, Spaghetti Sauce, Pop, Corn Meal-Yellow, French fries, Hot Sauce, Ketch-up, and Monetary contributions are also appreciated. We will need Twenty 35 lb, boxes of cooking oil. For more information contact Adelaide Long.

Eucharistic Ministers Holy Week Sign-up
All Eucharistic Ministers are asked to sign-up in the back of Church for the Holy Week Services. If you are already scheduled to serve on either Palm Sunday or Easter Sunday and plan to serve still sign the sheet, so that we'll know you plan to be present.

Ikenna Stovall - Exploring Europe Presentation
Please join me on March 21, 2010, during both "Pancake Breakfast" at Holy Angels Waldon Hall as I share with you through a Power Point presentation, my 19 day once of a life time experience as a member of Summer 2009 Indiana People To People delegate that explored Europe. The presentation is a token of my appreciation to all my sponsors, my mentors, my family, my friends and Holy Angels Parish for their support and prayers throughout my trip in Europe. Thank You!

FRIDAY LENTEN LECTURE SERIES
Please join us at our next "Faith & Fish on Friday" Lenten lecture this Friday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Center. The lecture is titled, "What it Means To Be Catholic: An African American Perspective" will be presented by our guest speaker, Fr. Eusebius Mbidoaka. Spread the word and bring a friend!

Catholic Relief Services
Next week, our parish will take up the Catholic Relief Services Collection. This collection helps to fund six Catholic organizations that improve the quality of life and protect human dignity. Your gift will support agricultural development to strengthen economics and create sustainability, provide outreach services to survivors of human trafficking, and supply pastoral care and advocacy for immigrants and refugees. By helping the marginalized and impoverished, you give hope to Jesus in disguise.

Spiritual Life Commission
The Spiritual Life Commission meets Wednesday at 6:00 pm in the Parish Center.

Penance Service
Our Lenten Penance Service is Thursday, March 25 at 7:00 pm. If you are not going to be able to attend, check The Criterion for the schedule of Penance Services throughout the city.

Daylight Savings Time
Daylight Savings Time begins next Sunday March 14. Be sure to set your clocks ahead one hour on Saturday so that you will be at Mass at the right time.

Holy Cross Catholic Church will host its annual St. Patrick's Day Party on Sunday, March 14, 4-8pm, in Kelley Gym at Holy Cross, 125 N. Oriental St. The party includes food, drink, and games of chance. Irish Stew with Pat Grant and Trooper Thorn will provide music. Adults only. Admission $5. Call 637-2620 for more information.
