Festival of Ministries 2009

        As part of our annual observance of Archdiocesan stewardship activities, Holy Angels held its traditional Festival of Ministries on Sunday, October 25. Often those within our parish as well as persons from the larger community are surprised to see all of the many ministries which our parish performs for members and for the greater Catholic Church and for the city as a whole. At mass, we were honored to have Father William Munshower concelebrate with Father Taylor. Father Munshower is Chaplain at Cathedral High School, and brought a large group of visitors from the school. Also with us to speak and sing of stewardship was Charles Gardner, musician and Executive Director of the Archdiocesan Secretariat for Spiritual Life and Worship. After mass, coinciding with the Knights of Peter Claver pancake breakfast in Waldon Hall (if you feed us - we will come!), attractive and informational displays of parish ministries were on display, attended by knowledgeable members of each ministry to inform and recruit.
